My approach to both Art and Illustration is to communicate a story using images that effect our emotions.
In my ART work I attempt a painterly representation of the beauty of life as well as the mystery. I'm sensitive to the color and drama of life. It is all about capturing the heart and vividness of our existence, or more importantly the perception of what we want life to look like. In my ILLUSTRATIVE work, I strive to capture the whimisical nature of a child's adventure in life, to use a fresh new approach in illustrating stories. I am satisfied when a child studies my work and asks me, "What happens next?"

I believe that Art is without limitations or boundaries. My feeling is simple, Art is an expression of your passion, what you love, what you enjoy. All of life is filled with wonderful variety and that is the reason I constantly challenge myself to go beyond my own limitations, to solve new problems and to find that glorious hidden masterpiece that might be hidden inside of me.
Art has been a part of my life for over 40 years. I discovered I could draw at the age of 8 years old when my mother gave me an assignment to paint an Ice skater, and to her amazement, I accomplished the project with good results. Yet it was not until I was 14 years old when I sold my first painting, and began to take art a little more seriously.
I love painting animals, and I enjoy children, and I feel as if I am still a child at heart.
